Under LPT's current published compensation structure, the company places 50% of the commission it retains from an eligible transaction into a revenue-share pool. That pool is allocated among as many as seven qualified upline levels. The published allocation is 31% to Level 1, 18% to Level 2, 7% each to Levels 3 through 5, 10% to Level 6 and 20% to Level 7. Agents progressively unlock deeper levels by maintaining specified numbers of active personally sponsored agents, ranging from one direct sponsor requirement for Level 1 to 15 for access to all seven levels. Business Builder agents do not participate in the revenue-share pool.

LPT places several restrictions around the recruiting component. New agents cannot earn revenue share during their first 120 days, and revenue share is initially applied toward the agent's brokerage cap. The company also prohibits agents from offering anything of value in exchange for being named as another agent's sponsor. LPT describes these provisions as measures designed to keep agents focused on real estate production rather than recruiting alone.

The underlying economic activity remains the sale of real estate. Revenue-share payments are generated from commissions associated with completed real estate transactions rather than from simply enrolling another agent.
LPT is not the subject of a major FTC pyramid-scheme or MLM enforcement action in the federal regulatory record reviewed. The company has, however, been named in civil litigation unrelated to the legality of its revenue-sharing structure, including federal lawsuits alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. A February 2025 case, Williams v. LPT Realty LLC, and a June 2025 case, Kunzman et al. v. LPT Realty, LLC, allege unlawful telephone marketing practices; the filings represent allegations rather than findings of liability.
