Natura Overview
Natura was founded in São Paulo in 1969 by Luiz Seabra and adopted direct selling as its primary distribution model in 1974. The company grew into one of Latin America's largest cosmetics businesses, emphasizing plant-based ingredients, refillable packaging and materials sourced through relationships with Amazonian communities. Major product ranges include Ekos, Chronos Derma, Tododia, Una, Kaiak, Essencial, Lumina, Mamãe e Bebê and Natura Homem.
Independent Beauty Consultants purchase or sell Natura and Avon products, earn retail profit and advance through performance levels that provide higher profit percentages, benefits and recognition. Natura also supports digital storefronts and direct customer ordering. The model is primarily direct selling, although consultants can develop and support sales networks under the company's growth plan. Natura completed the operational integration of Natura and Avon across Latin America in 2025. It also completed the sale of Avon International and Avon Russia as part of a broader corporate simplification, while retaining and relaunching the Avon brand in Latin America.
Natura's beauty and personal-care company operates in eight Latin American countries through more than 2.8 million Natura and Avon beauty consultants, ecommerce, mobile applications and more than 1,000 stores. Natura reported R$22.2 billion in 2025 net revenue from its Latin American operations.
