SAO PAULO, Brazil -- August 31, 2026

Natura said Alessandro Carlucci will become chief executive officer on October 1, 2026, succeeding Joao Paulo Ferreira, who will leave the company on September 30 after a decade in the role.

Carlucci had been chairman of the board and a director since 2025, and previously served as Natura CEO from 2005 to 2014 after a long executive career at the company. Fabio Barbosa will return as chairman of the board of directors.

Natura said that under Ferreira the company became multichannel, expanded in Hispanic markets and roughly tripled revenue, with more than 2.8 million beauty consultants and more than 1,200 stores. Carlucci said the focus will be on accelerating execution of the strategy already under way.
