QNET is a Hong Kong-based direct-selling company founded on September 8, 1998, by Vijay Eswaran and Joseph Bismark. The business originally operated as GoldQuest, reflecting its early focus on commemorative gold coins, and later used the QuestNet name before adopting QNET. It is the principal direct-selling subsidiary of QI Group, a privately held multinational organization with interests in direct selling, education, travel, hospitality, retail, and related businesses.
The company has expanded far beyond its original collectible-coin business. Its current product categories include nutritional and wellness products, personal care and beauty items, home and living products, water and air purification systems, watches and jewelry, holiday and travel memberships, educational products, and technology services. Major product and brand names have included HomePure water purifiers, Amezcua wellness products, Bernhard H. Mayer watches and jewelry, Physio Radiance skincare, Nutriplus supplements, and QVI travel products. QNET states that it maintains offices or agencies in approximately 25 countries and sells to customers in a substantially larger number of markets through its online platform.
QNET distributes its products through Independent Distributors, historically called Independent Representatives. Participants can earn the difference between retail and distributor pricing, commissions based on Business Volume generated through product sales, Repeat Sales Points from continuing purchases, and additional bonuses tied to rank advancement, team performance, and sales incentives. The compensation structure is multilevel: distributors can build organizations of other distributors and earn commissions from qualifying sales produced within those organizations. Current ranks begin with Bronze Star and progress through higher Star ranks, with continuing sales and rank-maintenance requirements applying at various levels.

New QNET Independent Representatives may enroll with the purchase of a one-year IRship Package, which includes an online Business Planner and Product Portfolio consisting of multimedia presentations, videos and brochures. New Independent Representatives also receive access to a virtual office, a personal website, eStores for product sales and purchases, and tools to help promote their business.

QNET's binary compensation plan gives Independent Representatives the opportunity to earn retail profits, commissions on downline sales, and various bonuses.
