Xango no longer appears to be active as a direct sales company.
XANGO was a Lehi, Utah-based wellness and nutrition MLM founded in 2002 and built around XANGO Juice, a mangosteen-based dietary supplement drink. The company expanded into related nutrition, energy, personal-care, and skincare products, including later mangosteen-oriented lines such as Glimpse. By 2013, XANGO was described as having more than 2 million distributors worldwide and more than $2 billion in reported revenue.
XANGO operated through a multilevel direct-selling model using independent distributors who sold products and built sales organizations. Its compensation structure and distributor culture were similar enough to Zija International’s model that Zija cited those similarities when it brought XANGO and Qivana under the Zija umbrella in 2017. XANGO’s standalone MLM operation ended when the brand became part of Zija International in May 2017.
The XANGO product line later moved again when Isagenix acquired Zija International in January 2020. Isagenix described Zija as a Lehi-based direct-selling company with plant-based wellness products and said Zija distributors would become part of the Isagenix family. XANGO survives as a product brand under Isagenix, with Xango Juice and Xango Reserve currently sold through Isagenix, but XANGO is no longer an independent MLM company operating through Xango.com.
XANGO’s notable legal and regulatory history included a 2006 FDA warning letter involving disease-treatment claims for XANGO Juice, including claims tied to cancer, depression, infection, Alzheimer’s disease, and other conditions. The company also faced internal founder and shareholder litigation, including a 2013 federal case in which co-founder Bryan Davis sued former business partners alleging corporate mismanagement and fraud; the court record shows the defendants disputed the allegations and sought dismissal of related claims.
