Amorepacific said monthly sales on A-dit Shop, the digital platform it built to modernize its six-decade-old door-to-door sales business, rose more than 373 percent year over year in October 2025.
Launched in February 2024, A-dit Shop lets registered sellers, called A-ditors, open their own online shop and choose which Amorepacific brands to sell, including Sulwhasoo, Hera, Holitual and Vital Beauty. The number of active A-ditors grew 54 percent over the past year to 21,000, and about 60 percent are in their 20s to 40s. The company attributed the growth largely to people with side jobs and women returning to work after career breaks.
Amorepacific has added features that let sellers customize their shop layouts, chat one-on-one with customers and issue personalized coupons, and customers can buy through a shared link without installing an app. The company also runs the Iris app for its traditional beauty counselors and education and business-support platforms for sellers. It plans to introduce integrated online and offline customer relationship management, coupon and payment systems through an A-dit Shop 3.0 project in 2026.
"The door-to-door sales business has continually evolved over the 60-plus years since it was introduced in 1964," an Amorepacific official said, adding that the company will grow A-dit Shop based on its offline personal selling know-how.
