eXp World Holdings said it completed the acquisition of Zoocasa Realty Inc., a Canadian digital real estate platform, with the transaction effective July 1, 2022. The company said Zoocasa would strengthen lead generation and affiliated services for eXp Realty agents in Canada, with plans to expand capabilities more broadly over time.
Founder, chairman, and chief executive Glenn Sanford said the deal supports agent value and market-share gains as housing conditions tighten. Zoocasa provides property search, buyer-matching, and related technology services that eXp said would complement its cloud brokerage model.
eXp Realty remained the core operating subsidiary of the parent, which also owns Virbela and SUCCESS Enterprises. The company said integration would focus on Canadian agents first while evaluating rollouts in additional markets.
