BELLINGHAM, Wash., January 3, 2023 -- eXp World Holdings, Inc. said founder, chairman and chief executive Glenn Sanford will return as chief executive officer of eXp Realty in addition to his holding-company responsibilities. Jason Gesing, who had been CEO of eXp Realty, was appointed chief industry relations officer of eXp World Holdings, an expanded role covering industry relations, metaverse advisory and ESG initiatives while remaining on the board.
Sanford said the moves intensify focus on building the next generation at eXp Realty amid challenges in the real estate market and on iterating the agent value proposition. Gesing joined the company in 2010 and helped establish eXp as one of the fastest-growing real estate companies during his tenure as Realty CEO.
eXp Realty is the cloud-based brokerage unit of eXp World Holdings and pays agents revenue share and equity incentives for recruiting and production.
