eXp Realty said it surpassed 85,000 real estate agents worldwide, up 30 percent from 65,286 agents at the start of October 2021. The cloud-based brokerage, which pays agents revenue share and equity incentives for recruiting and production, said growth continued despite a slowing housing market.
Recent additions included the Lawson Team of 15 agents from Engel & Volkers, the Ige Johnson Group of 35 agents from RE/MAX, which closed 397 transactions worth 93 million dollars in 2021, and the Incorvaia Team of 31 agents from Keller Williams, which recorded 731 transactions and 219 million dollars in volume.
Founder and chief executive Glenn Sanford said agents are choosing eXp for its technology, collaboration and ownership opportunities.
