Natura &Co Holding reported fourth-quarter 2022 consolidated net revenue of 10.4 billion reais, up 3.0 percent at constant currency but down 10.8 percent in reais. Adjusted EBITDA was 1.095 billion reais with a 10.5 percent margin, down 280 basis points. The quarter's net loss attributable to controlling shareholders was 890 million reais.
Full-year revenue was 36.3 billion reais, down 9.5 percent in reais and up 0.4 percent in constant currency, with adjusted EBITDA of 3.16 billion reais. Net debt excluding leasing improved to 7.4 billion reais from 8.8 billion reais in the prior quarter on better working capital and cash-tax dynamics. Group chief executive Fabio Barbosa said the company reassessed its growth model mid-2022 to prioritize profitability, cash conversion, cost structure and footprint.
Natura &Co said it is accelerating Natura-Avon integration in Latin America, evaluating strategic alternatives for Aesop including a possible stake sale, optimizing Avon International's geographic footprint, and rightsizing The Body Shop.
