SALT LAKE CITY, February 25, 2025 --

USANA Health Sciences reported fourth-quarter 2024 net sales of 214 million dollars, down 3 percent from 221 million dollars a year earlier but up 7 percent sequentially. Net earnings fell to 4.5 million dollars, or 0.23 dollars per diluted share, from 16.8 million dollars, while adjusted EPS was 0.64 dollars. Active customers declined to 454,000 from 483,000.

President and Chief Executive Jim Brown said promotions drove growth in the Americas and Europe while Asia Pacific declined slightly amid macroeconomic challenges. The quarter included less than a week of results from Hiya Health Products, the children's wellness brand in which USANA bought a 78.8 percent stake on December 23, 2024. Full-year sales fell to 855 million dollars from 921 million dollars.

For fiscal 2025, USANA forecast net sales of 920 million dollars to 1.0 billion dollars, growth of 8 to 17 percent, diluted EPS of 1.50 to 2.20 dollars and adjusted EBITDA of 107 million to 123 million dollars. Brown said the direct-sales strategy will focus on more frequent product launches and changes to associate incentives aimed at customer growth.
