On August 8, 2008, Chris Riggs, President and CEO of iMirus, and Marc Ashley, Chief Operating Officer of Market America presented a sneak peak of the new MA Newsstand...Ashley stated, 'Market America is doing what iTunes did for the music industry, but for magazines and books.' The MA Newsstand will launch in the 4th quarter of 2008 offering Market America's three-plus million preferred customers both print and digital versions of magazines, books and catalogs. Like iTunes, consumers will be able to just buy and download digital magazine articles or book chapters versus buying the entire magazine or book.
