Mark Thomas, Chairman of the Board, is a highly successful life insurance agent and District Manager with Modern Woodmen of America where he was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (only 6% of agents reach this status). He has operated profitable businesses out of his home for over 12 years, while building a large network marketing organization. Mr. Thomas has significant investment experience and a high client retention rate. He and his wife Susan live by this mission, "You can have everything in life that you want if you only help enough other people get what they want."

John M Eley

John M. Eley, is currently a Certified Estate Planner with Fidelity Capital Advisors. John received his BS degree in Economics from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. He was nominated All-American in basketball and drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1972. The following year, General Motors hired him as an engineer. After two years, he completed his childhood dream and became a Marine Officer. In 1976 he became a Naval Aviator with his commercial pilot license. John became a manager for Johnson & Johnson Health Care in California in 1979. He developed his territory into the fifth highest sales volume in America and IBM provided him with an offer that he could not refuse in 1981. At IBM, he received training that was equivalent to a Masters in Business Administration and Computer Science. Following his entrepreneurial spirit he began operating a retail business venture of his own. John then decided to turn his full career attention to finances. He worked as an Investment Banker and transitioned to a securities broker with Financial Network Investment Corporation (FNIC) which is now owned by ING. Today, John is a Mortgage and Stockbroker, as well as a Financial and Certified Estate Planner. As a public speaker, he spends most of his time flying across America educating corporate and business employees on “How to Retire in Financial Dignity. He is a current member of the following organizations: International Association of Financial Planners (IAFP), the United Way, Project Blue Print (Non-profit Board Consultants), Chair of the Houston Minority Business Council and serves on the board of the Urban Financial Service Coalition (bankers and financial planners).

Marty Hearyman

Marty Hearyman, MD, is a family practice physician serving his hometown in Arkansas. As a result of his medical experience, Dr. Hearyman is skilled at analysis and evaluation before proceeding with a course of action. He has a reasoned, balanced approach to issues, questioning thoroughly every decision. In addition to his practice, Dr. Hearyman has done extensive volunteer work, traveling internationally on many medical missions trips. His wife, Faran, provides support to the operational department of Avedis.

Jim Beach

Jim Beach has a 20-year sales and marketing career including Senior Account Executive for TCI/Primestar and Hughes Corp.-Direct/TV, his sales ranking him consistently in the top 10 and often #1 in the country. Mr. Beach built and trained a sales force of over 1,000 independent marketers for a nationwide tax firm, and was awarded the "Top Gun" trainer's award from among hundreds of certified trainers across the US. He and his wife Sally are very active with their family and in their church and community. Mr. Beach is a 7-year member of the Board of Directors for his church, Teen Sunday School Teacher and Special Events Coordinator.

Dina Dove

Dina Dove Since the mid 1970s, Dina Dove has been the founder of several businesses. In 1974 she and her husband founded Microgamma Systems, Inc. This company designed and manufactured high technology electronic test equipment. Their customers included Intel and Dell. Dina also founded the company DINA, a design and manufacturing company, providing upscale accessories to the home fashions industry. The most notable national accounts were JC Penney, Spiegel, and finally Wal-Mart. Before selling the company in 1992, it had grown to be one of the top 5 US companies in its field of specialization with 3 manufacturing facilities in the state of Kansas and was named Kansas Manufacturer of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce-Woman Owned Business Division. In 1993 Dina developed Maple Common, a multi-use facility that includes executive offices, executive travel accommodations and meeting rooms. This property continues to be under her ownership.

Faran Hearyman

Faran Hearyman brings experience in market development, corporate communication, and advertising and design. She served for five years as Marketing Director for a multi-million dollar manufacturing company where she developed marketing campaigns, established key vendor relationships, and developed internal corporate communication systems. In addition, she managed a large continuing education center. Mrs. Hearyman has extensive computer skills in design and publishing and project management. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Arkansas where she finished with a BA in communication.

Sandy Scherschligt

Sandy Scherschligt has over 17 years of experience in project management in many diverse fields including real-estate development, mental health programs, campus ministry, and network marketing. She has co-authored training manuals for several companies, developed ad campaigns, company literature as well as website development for several network marketing companies. Mrs. Scherschligt is CEO for Millionaire Moms, a program that assists moms in operating home-based businesses, and has been a successful "mompreneur" from home for the past seven years. She and her husband Mike are the proud parents of five children.
