Jau-Fei Chen

Chairman of the Board and Founder

From a young age, Dr. Jau-Fei Chen had an earnest desire to improve modern health. Her impressive academic journey began as the youngest graduate of her high school—graduating with honors as class valedictorian at age fifteen. Continuing her education, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology, with a minor in chemistry at age nineteen from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Jau-Fei then received her Master of Science degree in microbiology, with a minor in biochemistry. Before long, she accomplished her long-term goal and received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in microbiology, with an emphasis in immunology.

In 1987, Dr. Chen founded E. Excel International, a company that enables her to share the message of E. Excel Nutritional Immunology® with the world, a science that combines research and the latest technology to create life-enhancing products.

Larry C Holman

President and CEO

Larry C. Holman began serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of E. Excel International in March of 2001, bringing E. Excel over 25 years of professional, legal, and international business experience. He has served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Shaprite Concepts, Ltd.; Partner of Global Concepts, LLC; Executive Vice President of Mrs. Fields Inc.; and Partner with Jones, Waldo, Holbrook, and McDonough. Highly skilled in leadership, planning, and innovation, Mr. Holman has participated in the development of business organizations in countries such as Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and many others, lending increased focus to E. Excel's worldwide progression. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Brigham Young University in 1969, a Juris Doctorate degree from The University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1973 and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from New York University in 1974.

Gary Takagi

Senior V.P. and Chief Operating Officer

Gary Takagi serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of E. Excel International. Mr. Takagi is a Certified Public Accountant with over 17 years experience in business and finance. He has held senior management positions with KPMG, a national accounting firm; and with Mrs. Fields Cookies Inc.; he was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Shaperite Concepts, Ltd.; and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of K and G Management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Accounting degree from Utah State University in 1984 and 1985.
