Nu Skin Enterprises
February 11, 2021
The Nu Skin Enterprises board selected president Ryan Napierski to become the next president and chief executive. He will succeed Ritch Wood when Wood retires on September 1, 2021.
Wood will stay on as an executive advisor into the start of 2022 after 30 years with the company. Napierski is also expected to take the board seat Wood holds, at the stockholder meeting in June 2021.
Wood said the handoff matches a succession plan the two began when they stepped into their current roles four years earlier. He credited Napierski with shaping strategy and pushing the business toward customers and digital selling. Napierski has spent 25 years at Nu Skin, including four years as president, and earlier led global sales and operations, Nu Skin Japan and North Asia, and the Europe, Middle East, and Africa strategy.
Napierski said he was honored by the board and by Wood and described the company as family. He said he will work with employees and sales leaders on the mission of helping people improve their lives.
