Nu Skin Enterprises reported third quarter revenue of 641.2 million dollars, down 9 percent, and earnings per share of 0.97 dollars, down 10 percent. Foreign exchange added about 11.8 million dollars, or 2 percent. Sales leaders fell 15 percent to 58,565. Customers fell 9 percent to 1,395,271.

President and chief executive Ryan Napierski said the result matched the early October warning. Restrictions tied to the delta variant interrupted selling and promotions, especially in mainland China and Southeast Asia. He said the United States still grew on the Beauty Focus Collagen launch and that Korea grew at a double-digit rate.

For the fourth quarter, Nu Skin forecast revenue of 645 million to 675 million dollars, down 10 percent to 14 percent, and earnings per share of 0.90 to 1.00 dollars. For the full year it forecast revenue of 2.67 billion to 2.70 billion dollars, up 3 percent to 5 percent, and earnings per share of 3.93 to 4.03 dollars. The company said it would keep rolling out Collagen and ageLOC Meta and would push an affiliate social commerce model.
