The Real Brokerage Inc. has promoted Ravi Jani to chief financial officer, effective immediately, succeeding Michelle Ressler.
Jani joined Real in September 2023 as vice president of investor relations and financial planning and analysis, when the company had about 12,000 agents. Before Real he was vice president of investor relations at Blade Air Mobility, held investment analyst roles at Citadel and Anchor Bolt Capital, and began his career in investment banking at Bank of America and Moelis and Company.
Chairman and CEO Tamir Poleg said Jani would be instrumental in driving the company's next phase of growth, margin expansion and value creation. Real said it had more than 27,000 agents at the time.
Ressler, who had served as CFO since 2020, later filed a federal lawsuit alleging that she was terminated because of her pregnancy and gender, claims the company disputed.
