Scentsy

Scentsy said it is laying off 116 employees, about 11 percent of its workforce, at its headquarters in Meridian, Idaho. The company said affected employees will receive severance based on their years of service.
The fragrance and home products direct seller said the cuts reflect a market that has leveled off after a pandemic-era surge. During that period Scentsy's revenue doubled in a single year and the company hired about 1,000 people to keep up with demand.
Chief Executive Dan Orchard said the decisions were not made lightly and were intended to create a more focused and agile organization positioned for a return to growth.
