Herbalife Adds Uk Sports Specialist
LOS ANGELES, May 18, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Herbalife Ltd. (HLF) has expanded its Medical Advisory Board (MAB) with the addition of Ralph Rogers, M.D., Ph.D., a specialist in sports, musculoskeletal medicine and exercise physiology, based in Birmingham, UK, where he is also a Research Fellow of Wolverhampton University.
Herbalife's Scientific and Medical Advisory Boards are chaired by David Heber, M.D., director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The SAB guides product research and development, focusing on the quality and benefits of products. The MAB members educate distributors on product usage and give health-news updates through multiple company channels and live training events around the world. The MAB also provides an educational resource for doctors and healthcare professionals.
Rogers is a private practitioner specializing in sports medicine, rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, human performance, corporate wellness and occupational medicine.
