FTC Sends Warning Letters About False Health Claims
Companies receiving warning letters for making both health and earnings-related claims were doTERRA International,Total Life Changes, Tranont, Modere, Pruvit Ventures and Arbonne International. Rodan & Fields, IDLife, It Works Marketing received warning letters for making earnings claims, and Zurvita received a letter about health claims only.
The companies had 48 hours to inform the FTC of their actions to address the claims by their distributors.
