Herbalife India Plans Expansion
"Lured by the Rs 600 crore energy drink market, expected to grow to Rs 1000 crore by the end of the year, Herbalife is branching out to new locations across India, as starters, we are moving into new locations like Orissa and Kerala-with new offices, new operations. We will also be expanding our current setup in Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai. We have already opened a second office in Bangalore which houses our IT operations; and warehouses in Indore and Jaipur," Ajay Khanna. Head of Herbalife India.
Discussing the new line of 'Afresh', Herbalife's latest product entry, Khanna explained, "This product has immense potential to be part of the growth of India's energy drink market. We are constantly working in tandem with new trends to provide healthy meal options, fulfilling Herbalife's vision of 'Changing People's Lives' and contributing to a healthier world. The new Elaichi flavor Afresh has been customized for Indian tastebud and promises to sharpen mental alertness, reduces fatigue and elevates energy levels, Khanna claimed."
