L2 Digital To Produce Commercial For Herbalife
The commercials feature 35 Mandarin and Cantonese actors in 9 different locations in Los Angeles, over two shooting days. L2 was delivered initial storyboard frames featuring the China client's marketing goals and their story was brought to life locally.
L2 Digital Executive Producer, Phillip Large and Director, Andrew Deerin (The Fray, Honda, Tenet Hospitals, Shakira, Tony Bennett, MWD, Scripps Networks) worked extensively with Herbalife International to assure authenticity in regional locations and actors. Deerin worked with renowned Cinematographer, Richard Reens (7UP, Pepsi, Kodak, FOX, Next Top Model, Home Depot) on the commercial.
The project was shot completely on The Red camera in 4k High-Def and delivered through final post for broadcast at the highest resolutions. Final commercials were voiced in Mandarin and Cantonese.
This is the first original commercial that Herbalife Intl. has produced with China.
