Herbalife Provides Grants To Mexico
Created in 1945, Hogar Providencia Don Vasco IAP, in Michoacán, is a home for girls, ages 4 through 18 years old, who come from a dysfunctional family environment and have no economic resources; the organization provides shelter and resources to help them grow and develop into mature young adults. The girls will receive more nutritious meals and snacks and learn about healthy nutrition through the grant.
Fundación Don Juan Navarrete y Guerrero IAP, in Sonora, supports under-privileged families by creating an environment where its members can learn to live as a productive family and be self sufficient. The HFF grant will help the organization serve breakfast, provide groceries and host nutrition seminars.
These grants are given under HFF's Casa Herbalife program. To date, 61 Casa Herbalife programs have been established worldwide by HFF, and seven in Mexico. After an initial grant from HFF, local Herbalife independent distributors and employees will support the program through volunteerism and fundraising.
HFF is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation dedicated to improving children's lives by helping organizations provide healthy nutrition to children at risk. Additionally, HFF often supports relief efforts in response to natural disasters.
