Young Living Appoints New COO
"Jared's leadership has helped transform Young Living into the company it is today, and we are honored to have him serve as Chief Operating Officer, alongside the rest of our excellent Executive team," said Mary Young, Young Living Chief Executive Officer. "His many talents and purpose-driven mindset has helped Young Living achieve unprecedented success, and I am confident that his skillset and passion will propel our company into future successes and global growth."
"Jared is a trusted and proven leader with determination like no one else I have met," said Young Living's Founder, D. Gary Young. "He is not afraid of hard work. He speaks multiple languages and is a citizen of the world. He loves all living things, including plants, animals, and people. His strategic and tactical business expertise has proven, time and again, to be a great asset to this company. I have full confidence in him and the rest of the Executive team at Young Living."
Turner joined Young Living in 2012 as International Associate General Counsel with a strong background in international business and law. Most recently, Turner served as Young Living's Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, where he was responsible for strategically identifying and executing the company's global vision for growth and managing 1,000-plus global sales and marketing employees.
Prior to joining Young Living, Turner was an international business attorney at Kirton & McConkie, the largest law firm in Utah, where he advised multi-national companies on expanding their businesses internationally. Not limited to legal advice, Turner is a born entrepreneur who has successfully built and ran his own companies. His 10-plus years of experience in network marketing, combined with his passion for business building, led him to seek a role within a growing company. Young Living's proprietary Seed to SealŪ process and his own personal experience at the farms drew Jared to Young Living, the world leader in essential oils.
Turner holds bachelor's degrees in Spanish and political science from the University of Utah, a law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, and a master's degree in international relations from Syracuse University, The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
"I love this company, our products, and our amazing members and am honored to accept this new role. Young Living will move forward and continue to innovate and lead the essential oils movement," said Turner. "There has never been a more exciting time to be a part of Young Living. I look forward to continuing to work with our excellent members and employees to further spread the Young Living message and bring essential oils to every home in the world."
