In August of 1987 Doug and Andy Hoiland's parents, who lived in Bloomington Minnesota, had a paving company sealcoat their driveway. When the job was finished, they were not at all impressed. The cracks in the driveway hadn't been filled, oil spots were bleeding through, and footprints from the sealer were on the
grass and concrete sidewalk. They thought they could do it much better!
The Birth of Jet Black
So, they set our plan in motion, with customer satisfaction as their driving focus. On May 12th, 1988, they founded Jet-Black Sealcoating & Repair. After five years of hard work and continual success, the word was out. Customer demand for thier service was overwhelming.
