Original Npros business profile for LifePath Unlimited, preserved below for archival purposes:
LifePath Unlimited was a personal-development and prosperity-training company founded in 2006 by Joe Neid and Dave Mackenzie, with motivational speaker Patrick Combs closely involved in the company's early development as a co-founder and content director. Based in Carefree, Arizona, the company began shipping products in October 2007 and expanded internationally through a direct-selling business opportunity. By late 2008, promotional materials described LifePath Unlimited as a multimillion-dollar operation with associates in more than 20 countries, and by 2011 the company claimed a presence in more than 30 countries.
LifePath Unlimited specialized in high-priced personal and prosperity development programs rather than traditional consumer products. Its entry-level offering was the Discovery Series, a multimedia home-study program built around topics including purpose, relationships, wellness, prosperity, personal power, and the law of attraction. The program included audio and video materials, online coursework, a journal, goal-setting tools, and mentoring calls and retailed for approximately $1,695. Higher-level products included the BreakThrough personal-development conference, historically priced at approximately $8,995, and the Destiny conference, priced at approximately $14,995. The company also offered Awakening: The Movie and held Synergy business-training events for its sales organization.
The company used a high-ticket direct-sales and network-marketing-style compensation model. Independent representatives, commonly referred to as advisors or associates, marketed the company's programs and could earn substantial upfront commissions on individual sales. Historical promotional materials advertised commissions of approximately $1,000 on a Discovery Series sale, $5,000 on a BreakThrough sale, and $9,000 on a Destiny sale. Commission eligibility was tied to qualification at the corresponding product level, which could be achieved through personal product purchases or other qualification requirements. Some versions of the plan required associates who entered without purchasing the Discovery Series to pass their first five qualifying sales to an upline sponsor. The compensation structure also promoted residual income generated through the sales activity of representatives introduced into the organization.
LifePath Unlimited attracted several prominent marketers from the high-ticket personal-development direct-sales industry, including representatives who had previously worked with Liberty League International. The business remained visibly active into the early 2010s, holding international personal-development conferences and sales-training events in locations including Fiji, Puerto Rico, Australia, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale.
