Original Npros business profile for Cierra Ashley, preserved below for archival purposes:
Cierra Ashley was an Idaho-based home-fragrance company launched in 2008 under Cierra Ashley LLC and the related 2MB LLC. The Cierra Ashley trademark was first used commercially on July 1, 2008, and covered air fresheners, room deodorizers, fragrance diffusers, distributorship services and shop-at-home parties. Deborah "Debbie" Merrill was identified as the company's owner and vice president. The business was headquartered in the Idaho Falls area and initially expanded through Independent Advisors in states including Idaho, Utah, California, Colorado and Florida.
The company specialized in decorative fragrance fans that dispersed scented oil through natural evaporation rather than candles, heated wax or lightbulbs. Wicks drew fragrance oil from a reservoir while a small fan circulated the scent through a room. Its catalog offered more than 55 fragrance choices, along with large, small and economy diffusers, fragrance refills, hanging air fresheners, fragrance blocks, spill-proof mini refills and room sprays. Cierra Ashley also operated the "Cierra for Life" program, which supported the Alliance for Lupus Research.
Cierra Ashley obtained U.S. Patent No. 8,876,086 for a fragrance-emitting apparatus developed by Eric Kent Burke and Deborah M. Merrill. The patent application was filed on February 16, 2012, and the patent was granted on November 4, 2014. The design used an internal air mover and a Venturi-style outlet to draw air across a fragrance source and disperse the resulting scented airflow.
Products were marketed through home parties, catalogs, personalized websites and direct customer sales. Historical Advisor materials advertised a $99 business opportunity and offered hosts free or discounted merchandise based on party sales. Advisors could also take catalogs into workplaces, conduct fundraisers and sell directly through online storefronts. A complete official compensation plan is no longer publicly available, so the company's former retail commission percentages, leadership bonuses and downline-payment structure cannot be reliably confirmed.
Cierra Ashley is no longer active as a party-plan or MLM opportunity.
Cierra Ashley's Cierra for Life program supports individuals and families affected by the disease lupus through research and education.
