Cooksey Keepsakes was a children's photography company founded in Connecticut in 2001. The company brought portrait photography into customers' homes and specialized in informal black-and-white photographs of babies and children. Rather than operating a traditional photography studio, Cooksey Keepsakes used a direct-selling home-party model in which parents hosted photography events for friends and their children. The company began using the Cooksey Keepsakes name commercially in January 2002.

The business worked much like a conventional home-party company, but the service being sold was professional photography rather than cosmetics, cookware, or household products. Families attended scheduled portrait sessions, reviewed the resulting photographs, and purchased the images and portrait packages they wanted. Cooksey Keepsakes also worked with other home-party businesses. In 2007, it partnered with children's-products company BabyCrazy on promotional photo events in Massachusetts and Virginia.

In 2009, Cooksey Keepsakes introduced BabyFace Picture Parties, a division built around children's playgroup photography events. The company promoted the new division nationally through independent representatives known as Portrait Consultants. BabyFace events had no sitting fee and no purchase obligation. Hosts received six 4-by-6 photographs and could earn additional credits and half-price products based on event sales.
