Creative Memories is a scrapbooking, photo-album, and memory-keeping company built around helping customers preserve family photographs, milestones, and personal stories. The company became one of the best-known names in scrapbooking through its albums, refill pages, page protectors, decorative paper, stickers, adhesives, cutting tools, border makers, album kits, digital artwork, and other photo-safe crafting supplies.
Creative Memories sells through independent Advisors who introduce customers to products through personal relationships, scrapbooking events, crops, classes, virtual gatherings, online sales, and personal Advisor websites. Current company materials state that Advisors have no quotas, no required recruiting, no inventory requirements, and a free personal URL.
The current Advisor program includes both personal sales income and team-sales compensation. Advisors pay $49 per year to join, receive $50 in Creative Memories credits, and can earn 10% to 40% on personal and customer sales as their 12-month sales volume increases. The plan also pays 2% to 8% on downline Advisor sales, with earnings paid weekly by direct deposit.
Creative Memories has had more than one corporate chapter. The original company, associated with The Antioch Company, went through financial distress and bankruptcy proceedings before the old North American direct-selling business was shut down. In 2014, Caleb Hayhoe acquired the Creative Memories brand name, patent licenses, proprietary equipment, product rights, and related assets, and CM Group Holdings relaunched the new Creative Memories in the United States and Canada in November 2014.
Creative Memories is a member of the DSA.
For $199.00, new Creative Memories Consultants receive a kit valued at more than $460.00. Consultants receive training, emails, access to a Consultant-only website and marketing tools, and can earn extra rewards with a quick-start plan for new Consultants.
