The multi-level marketing company has been seen by many in the past and in the present as being nothing more than the perpetrator of a major scam on the public.
The Herbalife scam encompasses everything from complaints of consumers about the low-quality and high prices of the vitamins, to reports from distributors concerning the unfair practices, and poor compensation plan.
Herbalife, however, continues to be among the top financially productive companies; even registered on the NYSE. Something its opponents argue is solely based upon the fact that the only people making any money, are the ones at the top of the pyramid.
