Mayberry USA was a late-1990s internet service provider founded by Candy Wilson and Richie Martin. The company marketed family-oriented, filtered dial-up internet access designed to block pornography, violent material, objectionable chat rooms, and other content it considered inappropriate. Its online environment used a small-town theme, with sections such as Main Street, the Courthouse, Bank, Playground, and a "Citizens On Patrol" feature that allowed subscribers to report websites that had passed through the filtering system.

By 1999, Mayberry USA operated a sales office at 3300 Monroe Avenue in Rochester, New York, with approximately 50 local employees and 1,000 reported subscribers. Service cost $21.95 per month or $239.50 annually and included unlimited dial-up access, filtered email and chat rooms, an email address, and a small personal webpage through the MCI WorldCom network. The company also entered a co-branded arrangement with Bob Jones University under which subscribers opened to a customized BJU internet portal.
