Founded on European formulas, Elysee has been providing high-quality special treatment products for over 80 years. The first product, a hand cream, was developed in 1923. Elysee introduced Royal Jelly, grapeseed, wine extract, AHA's, olive oil, botanicals, and vitamins A, D and E, into the product line as early as 1940. The Company was brought to the United States in 1940. Linda Marshall purchased Elysee in 1972 because she wanted to assure that the quality, integrity and innovation of a great skin care company would continue.Elysee Cosmetics manufactures, develops, fills and ships its own products, as well as several private label products for other companies, including doctors and celebrities.
A portion of Elysee sales go to shelters for abused women and children. Elysee also contributes to the "Look Good, Feel Better" program for women recovering from breast cancer.
