Trained as a microbiologist, Edward has an extensive background in microbial genetics research. Prior to creating Syntec he worked for 13 years at Bayer Corporation, an international pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and biotechnology company. As the Process Development Director at Bayer, Edward oversaw 15 biotechnology factories worldwide that produced enzymes, probiotic cultures, and citric acid. More recently, Edward has demonstrated huge success as an entrepreneur by launching a number of biotechnology companies in the U.S. and China. With his extensive scientific and entrepreneurial expertise, it is not surprising that Syntec Nutraceuticals now stands at the forefront of the health supplement industry.

With a PhD in chemistry, Joseph has in-depth expertise in formulating innovative health care products as well as over a decade of experience working in the pharmaceutical and food industries. Like Edward, Joseph started his career at Bayer Corporation. While a Senior Research Scientist there, he developed eight different health-care related patents. One of these was a revolutionary blood sugar diagnostic kit used by diabetics which earned him the prestigious R and D 100 Award in 1982. Since then, he has channeled his talent for innovation into the development of nutritional supplements that are unrivaled in efficacy and purity.
