Steve Wood, Vice President of Finance and Operations

Steve Wood is joining our corporate team as VP of Finance and Operations, bringing with him 17 years of international business, finance and IT experience. He recently spent 13 years as Controller and Business Information Manager with a $240M a year international manufacturing company in Spokane. As Oxyfresh's Vice President of Finance and Operations, Steve will be responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Research and Development, Information Technology, Legal, International Sales as well as Distribution. After meeting the Oxyfresh team and studying our corporate culture, Steve discovered that some of our intrinsic values are fun, excellence and integrity, which he sites as one of the major reasons he chose to join our team. He passionately strives to live his life based on the following inspirational quotes written by Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman: "May you live your life with passion and purpose and mission and meaning; while at the same time, with a little wild abandonment." "Be sure and live your life with no forgiveness withheld and no anger held within." On the personal side, Steve is happily married for more than 20 years to Michele. They have a 20-year-old daughter, Meagan, interning in Florida to earn her master diver certification (scuba); a 17-year-old son, Brandon, who plays competitive soccer; and a 13-year-old daughter, Whitney, also a competitive soccer player. Steve is a sports enthusiast who enjoys coaching soccer, instructing martial arts, fly-fishing, skiing, snorkeling or whatever is in season. He also has a keen interest in classic cars; especially muscle cars from the late 60s.
