LiveGood

The Consumer Council of Fiji has warned consumers against a social media business opportunity promoted under the name of LiveGood, saying a preliminary review found characteristics consistent with a pyramid scheme.
The council issued an advisory on July 11, 2025 about promotions circulating on Facebook and TikTok and said it has engaged with Fiji's Anti-Scam Taskforce. Chief executive Seema Shandil urged financial institutions and mobile wallet providers to carry out enhanced due diligence on related payment flows and said the council understands the Reserve Bank of Fiji is also monitoring the matter.
According to the council, an individual reportedly based in New Zealand has been promoting the scheme to Fijians, promising high returns through matrix spillover and asking recruits to pay a 49.95 US dollar joining fee and a 9.95 US dollar monthly subscription, with claims of up to 1,000 dollars a week for signing up others. Shandil said the promoters' outreach focuses heavily on membership fees and recruiting rather than on the health and wellness products.
The council advised consumers not to invest, pointing to past losses from the collapse of the Ebayshop pyramid scheme. New Zealand's Commerce Commission said in a separate statement to the press that it had received two enquiries about LiveGood in 2023 and was keeping watch.
LiveGood is a Jupiter, Florida-based multilevel marketing company led by chief executive Ben Glinsky that sells nutritional supplements through a membership model.
