Hyderabad Central Crime Station officers arrested six people allegedly tied to an MLM operation called IGNITE, saying the scheme is a rebranded version of QNET and that senior IGNITE recruiters had previously been associated with QNET.
Those arrested were identified as Oneal Gupta of Noida, Dinesh Kumar Saahil and Priyanshu Saxena of Bulandshahr, Praveen Kumar Dakalia and Paritosh Kumar Dakalia of Kolkata, and Riyaz of Kerala. Police said three Hyderabad complainants together paid about 1.87 lakh rupees after WhatsApp outreach from an Africa-based number, an online presentation and a local meeting, with funds directed to an account in the name of Parasnath Mercantile. Investigators said IGNITE's Indian front, Indi Konnect Ventures, was incorporated May 18, 2026.
Police alleged refunds were conditioned on recruiting two new members or maintaining a 200 dollar e-wallet balance, and that products such as Activa, Brush-O and brAInify lacked regulatory approval for the health claims made for them. Money was allegedly moved toward Malaysia and converted to cryptocurrency before reaching a Hong Kong e-wallet.
