Jafra Mexico EBITDA rose 10.0% to 315.5 million pesos, with margin expanding to 17.0% from 15.3%, as the unit focused on consultant productivity and product renovations rather than recruitment. The average associate base fell 6.9%. In the United States, dollar revenue growth and cost cuts narrowed the EBITDA loss, and management said excluding extraordinary legal expenses the U.S. unit would have posted a 2.6% EBITDA margin.
Consolidated BeFra net revenue was essentially flat at 3.510 billion pesos, while group EBITDA rose 13.9%. Management said Jafra Mexico is shifting back toward consultant-base growth and product innovation in the second quarter.
