Natura &Co is cutting about 25 percent of the workforce at Avon International, or roughly 1,100 employees across 36 countries outside Latin America, as it accelerates a restructuring of the struggling business while evaluating a sale or other form of separation.

Avon International generated 1.39 billion reais in revenue in the first quarter of 2025 and negative EBITDA of 40 million reais. Natura regained control of Avon's operations outside Latin America at the end of 2024 through the Chapter 11 case of Avon Products Inc. in the United States.

Chief Executive Joao Paulo Ferreira called resolving Avon International an absolute priority and said the company aims to eliminate the unit's cash burn over the medium term. The separation work is being led by former chief executive Fabio Barbosa.
