Natural Health Trends Corp. said fourth-quarter 2021 revenue was 16.1 million dollars, up 13 percent from the third quarter and down 3 percent from the year-earlier quarter. Operating income was 487,000 dollars and net income was 232,000 dollars, or 2 cents per diluted share, marking a seventh consecutive profitable quarter. Full-year 2021 revenue was 60.0 million dollars, down 3 percent, with net income of 1.1 million dollars, or 9 cents per diluted share.
President Chris Sharng said order volume rose and deferred revenue grew by 2.5 million dollars from September 30 to December 31. Active members were 45,760 at year-end. The board declared a 20-cent quarterly dividend payable March 4, 2022, to holders of record February 22, 2022. Cash and cash equivalents were 83.8 million dollars at December 31, 2021.
