July 28, 2006--Effective today, Lillian Vernon has made the decision to close the Everyday Celebrations Division (D/B/A Celebrations by Lillian Vernon) as of September 30th. Although we believe this could be a viable business, Sun Capital has made the decision not to continue the business and focus on growing the primary direct mail business that was acquired at the end of May. We appreciate the efforts you have made and will be keeping the business open through September 30th.
