'Wherever I go, people are always asking me about home wine tastings," says Sharon Hughes, whose WineStyles retail shop in Keller does a couple of home classes a month, and who expects to do more as the holidays approach. "If I'm at a chamber [of commerce] meeting, someone is asking about a home class."
That's also the case at Wine Shop at Home, says Joe LoBue, regional sales director of the company, a unit of San Francisco's 1-800WineShop, an Internet and catalog retailer ( www.1800wineshop.com). Wine Shop at Home's revenue for the first six months in 2006 was quadruple the total for the same period in 2005, he says.'
