Host agency Joystar, now in Chapter 11 proceedings in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Florida, reported in court filings last week that it had received just over $46,000 in commissions between Feb. 10 and Feb. 28. It said it returned just over $2,800 in commissions, giving it a total commission income of $43,000. Its payroll for the month was $41,000 and of that payroll, just under $10,300 went to William Alverson, the company's CEO, and just over $8,400 went to Katherine West, the companyıs executive vice president. Another $4,000 went to an independent contractor. The rest of the payroll went to seven other employees. Joystar filed the papers as part of its standard monthly operating report.
