Quixtar Parent Company Buys Luxury Cosmetics Co
ADA -- Alticor Inc. announced this morning its purchase of Gurwitch Products, a luxury cosmetics company that makes the Laura Mercier line.
The acquisition of Laura Mercier, a high-end cosmetics line that counts as clients Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah Winfrey, is expected to help Alticor grow its direct-sales beauty business.
Cosmetics and skin-care products are among the company's hottest lines.
