Vemma Announces New EVP
SCOTTSDALE, AZ, Jun 11, 2013 -- Vemma Nutrition Company announced today a key promotion within the executive team: VP of Marketing & Brand Development Mark Patterson is now EVP. The move is reflective of the company's mission to build a strong leadership team that will take the company through its current season of unprecedented growth.
Mark Patterson joined Vemma in November of 2009, offering over 12 years of branding and marketing experience. After taking the helm of the Vemma marketing team, Mark's goal was to revamp the Vemma brand with an eye toward making it fun, exciting and hip... something everyone wants to be part of.
Projects Mark has directed during the past three years include rebranding of the Vemma website, updating product packaging, improving company and product messaging, and the launch of more than 10 new products -- including a successful healthy weight loss line endorsed by TV celebrity Chris Powell -- not to mention three mobile apps and three successful conventions.
During Mark's tenure as VP of Marketing & Brand Development, Vemma Nutrition Company has been honored with more than 65 corporate, marketing, creative and communications awards. The extensive list includes a recent DSA Ethos Award for the Verve Bold product launch in the Marketing & Sales Campaigns category, as well as 16 American Business Awards, 14 Marcom Awards, 9 Communicator Awards and 8 American Marketing Awards, among many others.
In a short span of time, Mark's successful leadership has changed the face of Vemma and taken it to a whole new level of success. Vemma Founder and CEO BK Boreyko commented, "Since Mark joined our team, we've experienced over 200% sales growth worldwide, and a lot of that has been with our energy drink, Verve, in the college-age market. Part of that growth is certainly due to Mark's leadership over the Vemma brands and creating packaging and branding materials that appeal so well to this age demographic. We congratulate Mark on his tremendous achievements and are so fortunate to have his talent on our team."
