Ambit Energy Announces Expansion of Services
"Simulcast 2015 set a new attendance record for Ambit Energy as the largest event in our history," said Chris Chambless, Co-founder and CMO for Ambit Energy. "With unprecedented enthusiasm for our business model, we expect 2015 to be a remarkable year of growth and expansion for the company."
The biggest announcement at the event was the expansion of service areas in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Virginia. The company will add electricity services in National Grid and NSTAR territories in Massachusetts, electricity services in Unitil, NHEC and Liberty Utilities territories in New Hampshire and natural gas services in the Columbia Gas territory in Virginia. Ambit Energy will begin accepting customer enrollments in these areas this spring, and estimates 3,026,800 potential customers in these new markets.
Ambit also announced a new partnership with Sunrun to provide solar solutions to new and existing Ambit customers in California, New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts. Enrollments for these new offers will begin in the second quarter of 2015.
