Viridian was founded in 2009 and sells natural gas and electricity service as an alternative to local utility companies through independent Associates. Viridian offers affordable, greener energy that is better for the environment. Viridian exceeds the Renewable Portfolio Standards by at least 20% in each state in which they operate. The company is a member of the DSA.
The Viridian Sustainability Initiative is the company’s pledge to empower customers and Associates to participate in their mission to improve the world and the communities in which they live. The initiative provides resources and opportunities for involvement in community service activities.
Viridian also offers a fundraising program that helps organizations earn money when their members switch their energy supplier to Viridian.
