Scott Kufus

Chief Executive Officer

Scott brings over 25 years in the direct sale industry to Healthient. A 25 year veteran of the wellness and direct sales industries, Mr. Kufus has built independent marketing/sales organizations totaling over 500,000 affiliates in 20 countries for companies including Amway, TPN and Advocare. His organizations have generated more than $1 Billion in sales in the direct sales industry.

In 2005, Mr. Kufus led the turn around of Universal Life Sciences, a nutrition company with annual sales of $24 million. Within one year of joining the organization, he reduced selling costs and increased annualized revenues to $75 million. In 2008, Mr. Kufus was tapped to launch the direct sales division for GLS, a publicly traded Biotech company. In the first year, the new division acquired over 21,000 new customers and affiliates and generated close to $20 million in revenue. He is the author of, “One Billion Dollars Later”.

Katherine West

Director and Chief Financial Officer

Ms. West will oversee the day-to-day management and supervision of finance, customer service and human resources departments. Ms. West began her career in 1989 with Thrifty Car Rental where she was responsible for the franchise's operations, reporting, forecasting, and accounting & tax preparation. Before joining Healthient, she served on the board of directors and held the title of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Travelstar, Inc.

Mark Flanagan

Executive Vice President

Mr. Flanagan is a 20 year renowned veteran executive of the wireless industry. Most recently, he was the founder and CEO of MAD Prepaid, Inc, which owns and operates the leading Internet e-commerce property www.prepaidwireless.com. Mr. Flanagan was responsible for creating the online business model for this web portal and other related online properties servicing the fast growing prepaid wireless market. Mr. Flanagan was also the founder and innovator of the first transaction processing network servicing the prepaid wireless industry in the US.

Jay Borromei

Chief Information Officer

Mr. Borromei has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of operations and IT leadership roles. His extensive understanding of business operations helps him advance Healthient’s business through the use of latest technology systems, software applications and tools required to build a successful and profitable operating enterprise.

Prior to joining Healthient, Mr. Borromei served as a consultant and has held variety of planning, technical, and operations positions at several publicly traded companies including serving as Chief Technology Officer of Travelstar, Inc.

Steve Green

Senior Vice President of Product Development

Steve is a 17 year veteran of the Direct Sales industry and for the past 10 year has been focused on health and wellness sector. He has worked with a number of chemists and product manufacturers nationwide in developing branded nutritional products for several nutritional companies. Steve has been very instrumental from a management position in developing and training network marketing sales organizations. He has personally built successful master distributor teams with several network marketing companies.

William M. Alverson

Chairman

Mr. Alverson began his career as a financial advisor at American Express in 1989. In 1993, he founded venture firm WMA & Associates. At WMA , Bill led the financings and provided executive management and advisory services to early stage companies including Pacific Snacks, Genius Products, Travelmax, Admore Memory and Freerealtime.com creating over 700 million dollars in market capitalization. He has extensive public company executive management experience having served as both chairman of the board and CEO of publicly held Travelstar and Travelmax.

Mr. Alverson has grown companies from start-up phase to managing enterprises with over 200 employees, 40,000 independent distributors and 100 million dollars in sales
