Drew Avery, President

Mr. Avery is the company Spokesperson and heads the marketing and product research department. His 13 years of experience in both marketing and product development gives him a unique understanding of how to better identify products that have strong marketability and keep Novum on the “cutting edge” in the Health and Wellness arena.

Over the last 13 years, Mr. Avery has been involved with promoting fitness/weight loss using a variety of advertising mediums. He has written articles for fitness magazines, written copy for national supplement campaigns, been featured in the inspirational documentary film “Body of Work”, traveled around the country speaking on the benefits of body transformation, and co-hosted a health and fitness radio program for 2 years.

Previously, Mr. Avery owned a successful film and video production company where he directed and produced TV commercials, political spots, and hundreds of videos seen nationally. His experience and reputation for “high end” productions garnered him the position as the primary videographer for the National Association of REALTORS.

Prior to starting his production company, Mr. Avery served as co-founder and chief marketing officer (CMO) of Ascendant Marketing, a recognized direct-response marketing firm. As CMO, Mr. Avery was in charge of all aspects of marketing including television and radio commercial production, media planning, operations, developing revenue enhancement strategies, cooperative marketing and mass distribution. His client list included TV productions and products such as: “American Idol”, “Celebrity Hollywood Diet”, “Passion 4 Health”, “Burn Lounge”, “Prolong Auto Lubricants”, Dr. Garth Fisher from ABC’s “Extreme MakeOver”, “Spray White 90”, “FreeTriplescore.com”,” Bodylogix”, “Hollywood Prescription”, “Total Shower Spa”, “Kids Rap Radio”, “Karma Foundation”, and” Rockstar Energy Drink”.

Early in his career, Mr. Avery was a nationally recognized fitness spokes- person for “Body for Life”and has been featured on such television and radio shows as “Entertainment Tonight”, “Men Are from Mars and Women Are from Venus”, Rick Dees and Howard Stern.
