Kannaway

Kannaway, a subsidiary of Medical Marijuana, Inc., said it opened a new office and warehouse in South Africa. The 3,326-square-foot combined facility sits just east of Johannesburg and is intended to let the company ship its full product line nationwide and lower operating costs.
Chief executive Blake Schroeder said the company was making South Africa a large focus for international growth and that the warehouse would help reach more customers in the region. Country Manager Duduzile Mathole called the site a first step toward broader expansion in Africa.
The opening follows Kannaway's earlier build-out of South African operations in late 2021.
