Kannaway promoted Peter Dale from general manager of its Japan division to global chief sales officer. He will oversee global sales and business development, keep hiring into the sales team, and work on productivity.
Chief executive Blake Schroeder said Dale had been central to growth with entrepreneur leaders in Japan and across Asia since joining the company in 2019. Dale has more than 30 years in leadership roles, including time at Nerium International, Javita Japan, Waiora, Natures Sunshine Products, Rexall Showcase, and Natural Health Trends.
Dale said he would set global sales strategy with field leaders and customers. The move takes a country manager into a chief-level sales role rather than bringing in an outside executive.
